A Legacy Of Love
Our King Charles Cavaliers are raised in a rural setting
in North Central Texas. Our Homes are in Woodbine, Texas and
Gordonville, Texas. The Cavaliers have found homes with us since we
fell in
love with the breed in 2004. A labor of love between three
retired school teachers who adore the breed and raise and treat them as
part of our extended family. Our males are kept at separate homes
to help control their jealous nature. This allows us more
flexibility and ability to give them individual attention.
The three of us visit frequently and share the
responsibility of the needs and care of the dogs. This is the
only breed that we raise.
The puppies are raised in our home, usually in the middle of the
kitchen or living room. Every litter we raise are very fondled, petted,
and watched carefully each day for any change that indicates maturity,
problems, and most of all personality. These puppies develop unique and
individual personalities early in life. We find it exciting and
hope that each of our dear hearts will find a loving home when we place
them.
Because the puppies have extended family, they are introduced early in
life to small children and other animals. The great grandchildren visit
them regularly to make sure that the puppies and dogs are being petted
enough. The good natured Cavalier has never met a stranger and will
greet all with a waggy tail. Care is given that our Cavaliers are
leashed or fenced because they get excited and forget that they are not
as
great as their danger. They appear to have little fear, It
is our sincere hope that each of our Cavalier Puppies will find homes
where they are allow to interact with people and be loved.
